Hello Dr. Ben, I posted under your questions, ask thread on December 11, 2011. You told me to get on the lovenox but my doctor would not put me on a blood thinner. Another doctor also said that because of my type of MTHFR that my blood wasn’t too thick. But is, and as soon as I have blood drawn I need not apply pressure because I clot almost immediately…no one seems to think this is odd. I am not sure what to do. I had another miscarriage after being on baby aspirin and metanx. Do you know of any doctors in the Baton Rouge, LA area that are familiar with MTHFR and take it seriously? Thanks, Courtney |

Courtney – I am sorry to hear this. I have a client in LA that is struggling immensely with doctors down there. You can take matters into your own hands but I must firmly disclose that there is risk and no guarantee. A woman who miscarried on Lovenox and Metanx did well when she took Metanx with nattokinase. Please read this article on prenatal supplementation with MTHFR. The nattokinase I recommend is Flow FX as it contains a researched amount to help reduce fibrin – which is the building block for blood clots. Consider taking 1 capsule in the AM and 1 capsule in the PM – make sure to take them 12 hours apart. Taking only Metanx and baby aspirin may not be enough – and I do not think it is – which is why I prepared the prenatal supplement protocol. You must tell your doctors you are taking nattokinase. If for some reason you need to have a c-section or any surgical procedure, the doctors must be informed. This is the resource I currently have for finding forward-thinking doctors. You can try to find one in your area. I look forward to a future post from you declaring a healthy child Keep us posted. |
My story is long and can get pretty involved so I am going to skip many details and get straight to significant life events. I feel once you understand who I am as an individual based on my experiences, you and I will resonate on a deeper level. After all, DrBenLynch.com is not about me - it is about how I can help you.
