    Hello,

I just heard today, that I have a heterozygous allele mutation…whatever that means!  This, however, is a reason for my doctor wanting to put me on anti-anxiety medication.  I am hesitant to do this and would really like to know if there are any other options out there.

    Thanks,

I’m confused.  Do you actually have anxiety? The way your worded your message it sounds like you don’t.

But assuming you do actually have anxiety – if you know you have MTHFR, why take meds, just take the supplements to treat MTHFR and the anxiety should clear.
