Rebecca

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for only a few months now. I had my annual at the gynocologist and asked them to test me for factor 5, as my father who is passed and my aunt both had/have it. It is in their policy to test for all blood disorders. My results came back negative for factor five but positive for compound heterozygous a1298 AND c1677. I have been researching the mutations because of this news. In one of your entries you stated to have those related to you tested and I figured my husband should as well. His results came as a devastating blow. We are going to see a hemotologist as suggested by my doctor. My question for you is where do we go from here? Is it safe for us to continue to try and conceive? Should we be doing something different like increasing our vitamin b6, b12, and folic acid? I am taking prenatal vitamins already as suggested by my gyno. I have purchased whole vitamins from a natural food store. Would these be a good idea? I have read about baby asprin but is that only after you have concieved? I want to make sure that we are making educated choices in regards to our future children. I am worried, afraid, sad, and confused. I just want some answers and it seems you are well versed in this matter. I hope that the specialist we are meeting with has some answers as well. Thank you for all of your hard work with this mutation and I greatly appreciate anything you can tell me.
Best regards,
Rebecca

Im sorry, didn’t stat what his results were he has the EXACT same thing as I do. What are the odds of this happening? Is this mutation more common than most know about? Thanks again.

Rebecca –

I highly recommend a consult to go into depth on this. Until I get my book out, a consult is going to get you a lot of information.

Please call 800-547-9812 to set it up or you may begin the process here online.

It is safe to conceive. It is lifestyle, diet and nutrition that keep us well.

One has to realize that these mutations have been around a LONG time. It is only our industrialized foods, chemicals, toxins, heavy metals, high stress and poor air/food/water quality that are expressing issues.

If we live properly in a polluted world, our kids will be fine.
